Bio
Amhalise Morgan began her career in casting in 1997 as an assistant and got her first taste of running a session while leading sessions on the New York portion of a Levis commercial with the director Tarsem. The production was looking for a "rockstar" to build a scenario around and she suggested they use her friend, Lenny Kravitz, needless to say production was impressed and at age 23 that solidified her presence in the minds of production colleagues . In the following year, 1998, the production manager from that Levis commercial, Kate Sutherland, reached out and said "The girl from the Fugee's" Lauryn Hill was working on her solo record and would Amhalise consider casting a music video. Lauryn Hill's "Doo Wop" was Amhalise's first job as a Casting Director. A few weeks later she cast Jay-Z's "Hard Knock Life" and from there, Amhalise Casting was established.
