Amhalise Morgan began her career in casting in 1997 as an assistant and got her first taste of running a session while leading sessions on the New York portion of a Levis commercial with the director Tarsem. The production was looking for an artist to build a scenario around and she suggested they use her friend, Lenny Kravitz, needless to say production was impressed and at age 23 that solidified her presence in the minds of production colleagues . In the following year, 1998, the production manager from that Levis commercial, Kate Sutherland, reached out and said "The girl from the Fugee's" Lauryn Hill was working on her solo record and would Amhalise consider casting a music video. Lauryn Hill's "Doo Wop" was Amhalise's first job as a Casting Director.  A few weeks later she cast Jay-Z's "Hard Knock Life" and from there, Amhalise Casting was established. She has since spent the 20+ subsequent  years working as a Casting Director in NYC as well as traveling worldwide, working with such directors as Mark Romanek, Lance Accord, Antoine Fuqua,  Malik Sayeed, Yann Demange, Doug Liman, Tom Tagholm, Kahlil Joseph, Todd Field, Andrew Dosunmu and John Hillcoat just to name a few. Music Video credits include artists Lenny Kravitz, Whitney Houston, Jay-Z, Beyonce, Lauryn Hill, D'Angelo, Common, Carlos Santana, AC/DC, Rihanna, Stevie Wonder and John Legend as well as countless others. Commercial credits include: Apple, Canon, Converse, Ford, Lincoln, Mercedes, Nike, EA, 7-Up, Adidas, Pantene and BMW.
